COVID-19
We’d like to share with you what we are doing to help our team and customers through these challenging times.
Firstly, we’d like to say that we hope you are all keeping well and safe through what is a difficult period for all of us. The situation we find ourselves in is constantly changing, and the impact of the pandemic is being felt in every aspect of our lives, because of this we’ve taken decisive action to upgrade our cleaning policies to ensure everyone at Europlanters is as protected as possible, so that we could continue to operate over the next few months as we weather this crisis.
We had already implemented a lot of additional precautions to ensure that first rate hygiene is maintained for everyone across the business, with particular focus on those working in the warehouse who may come into contact with your planters or packages. These included regular hand washing, and the sanitising of work areas several times during each shift.
Also in collaboration with our team, we have rearranged our shift system to reduce the day to day contact with each other, along with putting in place strict social distancing rules to allow our staff to feel safe.
We’ve also made it clear to our team that if they, anyone in their family, or anyone they have recently been in contact with should show any COVID-19 symptoms, they will be required to self-isolate for 14 days.
In addition it has always been our policy to cross train our staff so that if anyone does need to self-isolate, there’s someone ready to take their place to keep the business going.
Our drivers have been briefed on social distancing and if you are self-isolating please let us know how we can best help you, for example we can follow your instructions to leave your planters in a safe place and not to disturb you. We will always arrange delivery with you first.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued loyalty to Europlanters.
In these tough times, we want you to know that you can still rely on us. We will do our upmost to ensure we keep to promised lead times and delivery dates, but also have to be realistic with this ever changing situation.
Finally, we will continue to follow Government advice as it develops and will let you know if we need to make any changes.
Stay strong and stay safe!
