The Alderley Edge Project
As part of a major renovation, this Alderley Edge roof terrace offering stunning views across the Cheshire landscape, was made much larger.
Europlanters manufactured several large Corten effect GRP planters, a hidden storage bench and over 13 metres of GRP screening in this unique outdoor living space designed by David Keegan Garden Design and installed by Butler Landscapes.
The stunning GRP Corten effect perfectly replicates the real thing. This effect takes time and patience to create, but offers a great alternative without the complications of staining or weight of real Corten.
This aesthetically pleasing area is perfectly suited to entertaining with the installation of the large outdoor kitchen area. The 3.5mtr canopy over the kitchen and the pergola offers shade from the sun and protection from elements. The Corten effect GRP planters and screening perfectly match a real Corten pizza oven owned by the client.
This open area is the perfect suntrap for relaxing in the sun. The large glass skylight in the terrace floor offers brilliant sunlight to the home below.
The planters offer large raised beds of ornamental plants and a host of herbs near the kitchen area. The GRP partitions create the ideal privacy screening.
Strategically placed lighting generates the perfect ambience in the evening, whilst the surrounding tree canopies facilitate wonderful bird songs.
The abundant planting scheme encourages wildlife along with wild flower gardens below the terrace.
